Founded in 2023, Yonda Solutions, LLC emerged from years of hands-on experience building solutions that make a real difference in people's lives. What began as independent projects serving healthcare institutions, faith-based organizations, and small businesses has evolved into a comprehensive software development firm specializing in AI-powered applications, custom software, and intelligent automation.
While formally established in 2023, our foundation was built on over a decade of solving real-world problems with code—from transforming paper-based healthcare systems into digital solutions to creating mobile applications that connect communities.

Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Joel's journey into technology began the way many great tech stories do—taking apart computers and electronic devices as a curious kid, driven by an insatiable need to understand how things worked. That early fascination with technology laid the foundation for a career dedicated to building solutions that genuinely improve lives.
An Unconventional Path to Technology
Joel's path to founding Yonda Solutions was anything but conventional. After three years of pre-medical studies at New York University (NYU)—inspired by a passion for cardiac surgery and participation in the National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine in high school—he made a pivotal life decision.
Recognizing that the demanding schedule of a surgeon would conflict with his deeply held values around family and community, Joel transitioned to nursing at Pace University, where he could still serve others in healthcare while maintaining the work-life balance he valued.
The Breakthrough: From Healthcare to Code
While working as a Data Analyst in the Quality Management Department at Northwell Health, Joel experienced his defining moment. In 2012, he developed a comprehensive Triage Management System and taught himself VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) to transform the organization's paper-based processes into a fully electronic solution.
"Seeing healthcare professionals save time, reduce errors, and focus more on patient care because of something I built—that's when I knew: this is how I could make the biggest impact," Joel explains.
From VBA, Joel systematically mastered a diverse array of programming languages: C# (during his studies at Pace University), then Swift, Java, Python, Dart, and Flutter—always with one goal in mind: solving real-world problems for real people.
Service, Community, and Code
Beyond his work in technology, Joel serves his community in multiple capacities, bringing discipline, dedication, and a service-oriented mindset to everything he does. Whether responding to emergencies or debugging complex code, Joel applies the same principles: stay calm under pressure, work as a team, and build reliable systems that perform when it matters most.
Joel is deeply active in his church and local community, applying his technical expertise to serve faith-based organizations. He developed the WRC App—a custom mobile application that has transformed how his congregation connects, communicates, and engages with ministry. This project demonstrated that modern technology and timeless values can work hand-in-hand.
